Greentree Health Science Academy connects students of all ages who want to pursue a career in health care, the schools and colleges that train them, and a medical center that needs workers – all focused on placing skilled professionals in health care jobs in southwest Ohio.
High school students participate in a two-year health care curriculum for juniors and seniors, located in Monroe, Ohio. Beyond high school, Greentree partners serve adults who want to pursue degrees and industry credentials in high-demand health care fields.
Most classes and training are offered in Butler and Warren counties, Ohio. Some use distance learning to minimize travel time for students. In addition to regular course work, students receive hands-on experience working side-by-side with health educators and clinical staff members in a hospital setting.
One of only a few such collaborations nationwide, Greentree is an effective public/private partnership. We share Ohio Governor Ted Strickland’s priorities for educational excellence: to make high quality associate and bachelor’s degrees convenient, accessible and available at low cost to all Ohio residents.
