Junior Year at Greentree Health Science Academy
Learn the foundations of health care by rotating through five health technology labs, including:
- Medical assisting
- State nurse aide training
- Medical terminology
- Medical office management
- Fundamentals of EMS
End the year with Allied Health 103, a college credit class.
Visit hospitals to shadow workers and nursing homes to practice nurse aide procedures.
Senior Year at Greentree Health Science Academy
Gain an overview of specific areas of health care by rotating through four additional health technology labs, including:
- Medical terminology II
- Health information management II
- Fundamentals of practical nursing
- Fundamentals of dental assisting
Optional additional labs include:
- Exercise science
- Phlebotomy
- EKG
- Hospital internship
- Microsoft certification for health information management
Visit areas of interest in hospitals and complete an optional summer hospital internship
